Your Core Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Leadership

  • Pipeline Architecture: Build and manage a USD $5M+ annual opportunity pipeline across enterprise, mid-market, and growth-stage companies
  • Strategic Sales: Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with C-suite stakeholders, converting challenges into comprehensive ERP transformation programs
  • Market Penetration: Identify and dominate high-value verticals including manufacturing, retail, distribution, professional services, and healthcare
  • Partnership Development: Forge strategic alliances with technology vendors, system integrators, industry associations, and investment firms
  • Thought Leadership: Position OdooEdge as the go-to authority through speaking engagements, published insights, and executive networking

2. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Define 3-year vision and 12-month operational roadmap for the practice
  • Develop competitive positioning, pricing strategy, and service packaging that maximizes both value and margins
  • Establish KPIs, forecasting models, and business intelligence frameworks
  • Drive operational efficiency while maintaining quality and client satisfaction
  • Build scalable processes that enable sustainable growth from current state to USD $20M+ ARR

3. Client Relationship & Delivery Excellence

  • Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives across client organizations
  • Ensure seamless handoff from sales to delivery, maintaining accountability for client success
  • Cultivate long-term strategic relationships that generate recurring revenue and referrals
  • Collaborate with technical teams to balance client expectations with delivery capabilities
  • Drive NPS scores above 70 and achieve >85% client retention rates

4. Team Building & Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing sales and pre-sales professionals
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure technical excellence aligns with business promises
  • Build an organization that can scale beyond your direct involvement

Who You Are

Essential Professional Experience

  • UAE-Based: Current resident of the UAE with valid residency visa and unrestricted right to work
  • Proven Sales Leadership: 5+ years in senior BD, sales, or consulting partner roles within ERP, enterprise software, or technology services
  • Deal-Closing Track Record: Demonstrated success closing deals valued at USD $100K+ with documented revenue impact
  • GCC Market Expertise: Deep understanding of UAE/GCC business culture, procurement processes, decision-making hierarchies, and regulatory landscape
  • Entrepreneurial DNA: Previous experience building a practice, leading a P&L, or operating in a founder/partner capacity
  • Executive Presence: Comfort and credibility engaging with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
  • Network & Relationships: Established connections within UAE business community, industry verticals, or technology ecosystem

Technical Fluency ≠ Technical Delivery

You don't need to write code. But you must speak the language of implementation with confidence. When a CIO asks about API capabilities, custom workflow automation, or scalability to 500 concurrent users, you should respond with authority and credibility—not hand it off to a technical resource.

  • Profit Sharing: Direct participation in practice profitability with transparent calculation and distribution mechanisms
  • Equity Pathway: Opportunity for equity ownership in the Odoo practice or parent entity based on performance and mutual agreement

Stage 4: Technical Fluency Assessment (60 mins)

Scenario-based discussion testing your Odoo knowledge and ability to navigate client conversations.

Stage 5: Partnership Agreement Negotiation

Finalize terms including compensation, equity structure, responsibilities, and success metrics.

Stage 6: Onboarding & Launch (30-60 days)

Deep dive into current operations, client base, pipeline, and team. Co-create your 90-day action plan.
